Ms. Yang specialises in cross-border M&A, corporate & regulatory matters, and commercial dispute resolution.

 

She has over ten years’ corporate transactional experience and acts for clients across a wide range of business sectors. Jamie brings a commercial, practical, and common-sense approach to deal-making and counselling to help multinational corporations maneuver within a complex set of legal structures and regulatory restrictions in China.


Representative Cases

  • Acting for various international companies in a broad range of PRC foreign direct investment related matters: joint ventures, mergers, disposal of assets, business restructuring, and related commercial issues (Forex, employment, IP, etc.).
  • Acting for various domestic and international companies in PRC corporate and regulatory matters: licenses and permits, leases and other business contracts, responding to administrative investigations, etc.
  • Representing various domestic and international companies in commercial or contractual dispute resolution proceedings (arbitration, litigation, or alternative dispute resolution).
  • Advising a PRC conglomerate on its acquisition of a European financial institution for strategic growth.
  • Advising a Taiwan listed company on its exit and disposal of various assets in China.
  • Advising a German bank on its establishment of a new branch in China.
  • Advising a PRC state-owned energy company on its acquisition of a European new energy group.
  • Advising a Singapore media group on its acquisition of a HK listed PRC a



Working Experience

Prior to joining AnJie Broad, Ms. Yang was a Partner at a member law firm of the PwC global network and a founding member of Broad & Bright Shanghai Office.


Education Background

Ms. Yang received her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Vanderbilt University Law School in the U.S. and is admitted to practice law in China and in New York State.
